I like to walk in the morning, especially at sunrise, because of the freshness and quietness, except for the surf sound rolling on the beach.
So, when the weather is fine, I take the time to walk at Caroline Bay.
During my morning walks, I find a verse that I will ponder and give me encouragement for the day. Then I will post it on Facebook together with a photo.
I want to encourage my friends and let them see that morning has come in our part of the world. New Zealand and Samoa see the sunrise first. Also, I will have a reminder from Facebook the following year.
So, here are some of the photos and verses.
A good man obtains favour from the LORD, but the LORD condemns a crafty man. A man cannot be established through wickedness, but the righteous cannot be uprooted. Proverbs 12:2-3
For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love, serve one another. Galatians 5:13
We gather together to ask the Lord’s blessing;
He chastens and hastens his will to make known;
The wicked oppressing now cease from distressing:
Sing praises to his name; he forgets not his own.
This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him. 1 John 5:14-15
Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3:13-14
My heart is not proud, Lord, my eyes are not haughty; I do not concern myself with great matters or things too wonderful for me. But I have calmed and quieted myself, I am like a weaned child with its mother; like a weaned child I am content. Psalm 131:1-2
I hope that these verses and photos have encouraged you as they have lifted my spirit. Please encourage someone today by sharing this. Thank you!
