On Saturday, 29 December 2012, I conducted my first child dedication service for Kiersten, the daughter of Emman and Christine Comon. The family lives in Temuka, which is about 30 minutes drive from Timaru.
The Jesus is Lord Life Group, the Filipino Christian group that gathers for worship every Saturday requested me to conduct the child dedication. Together with most of their members, we went to the child’s home to conduct dedication service.

The Comon family was also celebrating the birthday of Kiersten’s sibling. We met other Filipinos from Christchurch who came to attend the event.
It was a Saturday of worship, fellowship and fun with Filipino brothers and sisters in Christ.
Indeed, how good and pleasant it is when brothers and sisters live together in unity!

Really a wonderful feeling to be together with kababayans that came from different places of our country but met and united together in a place far away from home because of one Faith, one HOpe, one Baptism and one Lord, our Savior Jesus Christ!
