The Real Deal Look Back You Might Not Want to See at All

In celebrating their 10th anniversary on 4 February, Facebook rolled out “A Look Back” video for all subscribers.

It’s a one-minute (or 1:02 exactly) slide show of your early moments, most liked posts and events since joining the popular social media.

You probably noticed that Facebook could only show the things you uploaded, which is quite a relief as you don’t want the controversial and embarrassing events to be shown and shared on social media.

However, do you know that there will come a time when “The Great Look Back” of your life will happen?

Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account.

Hebrews 4:13

This is the real deal ‘look back’ because NOTHING IS HIDDEN, and we MUST GIVE ACCOUNT BEFORE GOD.

While we couldn’t bear watching all the folly and sinful acts we have done since we came into being, we would surely appreciate seeing our own selves kneeling and humbling before the Lord, repenting sincerely and committing our lives to follow Him.

That would probably be our most “liked” portion of our heavenly look back.

Let us continue to do what is good and pleasing before the Lord.

Let us honour Him and glorify him with our lives so that when that moment of the Great Look Back, we will hear God’s commendation, “Well done, my good and faithful servant!”
