Sing praises to the Lord, O you his saints,
and give thanks to his holy name.
For his anger is but for a moment,
and his favour is for a lifetime.
Weeping may tarry for the night,
but joy comes with the morning.
Psalm 30:4-5
Today, 9 October 2012, at 7:25 AM, we received our passports with the “Resident Visa” label pasted on one of its pages—at last!
Our hearts are full of praises and thanksgiving for God’s goodness.
Living in the beautiful country of New Zealand, surrounded by its stunning landscapes and welcoming community, and successfully obtaining resident visa status after navigating through the immigration process has strengthened and deepened our faith in God.
Trusting in God’s guidance is vital when embarking on any endeavour, such as relocating to a new country.
After living in New Zealand for 11 months, we can testify that God’s faithfulness and Divine Providence have carried us through.
Twelve years later (2023), I can confidently affirm that God’s unwavering faithfulness and divine providence remain constant.
Indeed, with God, nothing is impossible, or even impossible is nothing.
What a remarkable journey of faith for all of us. We are grateful to our family, relatives, friends, home group, churches, and everyone who prayed for us, offered encouragement, and showed kindness and support.
May God’s wondrous blessings be upon every one of you.
Forever our hearts will say, “Thank you, LORD!”
Thank you, Lord God, for continually providing us with abundant reasons to rejoice each morning!
